Pender Island Intimate Wedding

A Pender Island Love Story

it’s only been a few days since Tamera and Sean’s intimate wedding on Pender Island but I already need to share some sneak peeks!

Pender Island is an extra special place for Tamera and Sean. They’ve visited many times, got engaged there, and on June 12th, 2021 they said I Do there. They have been together for over a decade (and they already had to postpone their wedding day from 2020), so this day was a long time coming! It was such an honour to be a part of it. They kept their guest count to their closest friends and family members, which allowed them to have their wedding day at their favourite spot to stay on Pender Island: Logan’s Hideaway. They also got engaged there, so it’s an extra special place. Not to mention, being right on the beach and overlooking the ocean, it’s insanely gorgeous!

After a beautiful ceremony on the private beach, T + S and I went to Roesland, part of the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve. This park was once a vacation property, and there are still many small cabins along the shore. We took some photos with the stunning ocean views, and also in a field area within the park. I could have spent the whole day shooting there!

The Paddle Board Processional

The highlight of the day was a paddle board processional after dinner. Tamera and Sean love paddle boarding together every time they stay at Logan’s Hideaway – they are out there almost every evening. So, of course, it was a no brainer that they would need to keep up the tradition on their wedding day! Their wedding party tagged along and yes, that’s a “Just Married” sign with tin cans on the back of the bride’s paddle board. This paddle board processional was definitely a wedding first for me and it was so much fun to photograph (my drone came out to get the best view) – I absolutely love that Tamera and Sean made their wedding day truly their own.
